Banjo
Banjo is a 5 year-old very handsome liver roan male German Shorthaired Pointer. Banjo loves people and dogs, however he prefers large dogs over small dogs. He also would not be a candidate for a cat home.
Banjo is very sweet, and loves getting affection and pets from people. He loves to play with other dogs. He plays fetch, but needs to learn how to bring the ball back. He loves to chase and play with rope toys.
Banjo is very treat motivated, making training easier. He does know a few commands: Sit, Come, Let’s Go, and he will come to you when you drop to your knees and open your arms. He walks very easy on a leash.
5 years old is a sweet age for a GSP, and Banjo is a perfect example of that. While he does need daily exercise, he doesn’t require the amount of exercise that a much younger GSP would need. A couple of walks a day, or a run, along with some training would keep Banjo happy. The reward of having a GSP Banjo’s age that after a walk, he will be happy to hang out with you on the couch watching your favorite show.
Banjo also does well in a car, so he would make a great companion to take on trips, errands, coffee shops, as he is very social.
