Hans is the second GSP this week to be rescued from a shelter by California GSP Rescue. While arrangements were being made earlier this week to rescue Henry, California GSP Rescue was also busy making arrangements to pull and transport Hans. From the photo Hans looks scared and unsure what was going to happen to him. Perhaps he knows that adoption rates at shelters for adult dogs isn’t that great and his chances would be much better if he were just a few years younger.
Fortunately for Hans, age is never an issue and once his stray hold was up, California GSP Rescue made a few phone calls and sent a few emails. Late Friday plans were finalized and Saturday Volunteer Dave pulled Hans from the high kill shelter and drove to meet Volunteer Dan who completed the transport to the Rescue.
A big thanks to ARF San Pedro for helping provide information & photos of Hans – keep up the good work! We are also appreciative to both Dave and Dan for taking time from their weekend to help get Hans one step closer to his forever home. Check back soon for more info on Hans.
