Love the new website!! Great content, aesthetically pleasing…very easy to navigate!
I especially love the more detailed information on the adoptable dogs – but my favorite is the success stories!! Love reading about the adopted dogs and their new families!!
Great Job Jen!! and Greg and Teri!!

  2. Lynn & Norm Browne March 21, 2011

    Looking good! 🙂

Sorry to see our photo of “Duke & Star” in their German hats go from the calendar page though.

Will you have a photo page of GSP’s gone but not forgotten?

    Faithful members,

Lynn & Norm Browne + “Deuce & Daisy”

The work that you all put into this site was well worth it. These days everything is so time sensitive. People are constatnly checking back and if they don’t see new things, they lose interest and go somewhere else. I believe this site will keep people interested now! Great job!

  4. Denise March 27, 2011

Looks great. Glad to see new pictures of the wonderful dogs. Can’t wait to see whats next.

What a beautiful picture…Thinking of you Shelley and Sean and sending love and light your way. Heinze was so fortunate that wonderful people like you exist to give a senior dog a second chance at a life in a loving home. I know how special he was and how much you miss him. Rest in peace handsome boy…

  12. Scott English April 27, 2011

Sorry to hear about Heinze. Everyone at Bonded Cleaners misses you guys!! We are looking for another GSP we wish you guys were around! All our love Scott and Greg Owners Bonded Cleaners San Clemente

Dear GSP Team, I am so incredibly sorry. This is simply heartbreaking. He was an amzing, wonderful dog.

  14. Brenda Gloss April 29, 2011

This came as a terrible shock to me this morning. In the short time I was able to volunteer, Dutch and Lily stole my heart. My deepest sympathy to all of the GSP team, especially to Lily, she will miss her brother so much. I just pray for a forever home for her, she needs it more than ever now. I wish I had a house with a big garden. Rest in Paradise Dutch.

  15. Lisa Schrey April 30, 2011

I write this with tears streaming down my face. Dutch will be greatly missed by all of us who had the pleasure of being around him. He definitely was loved by all of the volunteers.
The past several months he has shown a side to him that has been so playful. It was like he had e a new burst of energy. He knew who we were as volunteers. He would run up to us as we walked in the fieldand, as if to say, “hey, you’re back again to play, Thanks for coming and hanging out. He would make sure to say hello to everyone.
I love that boy!! And I will miss his smiley face everyday at the rescue.
Rest in Peace, Dutchmann. I love you!! Volunteer~Lisa

Dutch was my sister’s dog before she passed away from cancer last June. Our family is saddened by Dutch’s passing but comforted in the thought of his reuniting with our sister. She loved him and Lily so very much and both were by her side whrn she died. Thank you to all the volunteers at GSP for the love and affection given to Dutch. We are so sorry for your loss.

Lily is an outstanding dog. We have been fostering her for a few weeks now and she fits right into our family. She doesn’t have any ‘issues’, just loves to walk, hunt for critters in the backyard, and cuddle CLOSELY! (She had the GSP lean down pat!)

    Robbin,
I can fully understand everything you have said in this poem. I love my Sadie girl (GSP) who is 12 so much I cant stand it. and she also is every word of this poem. My deepest sympathy to you. I wonder if I will ever find a dog who even comes close to her. If not we will meet again.

Thank you Laura. We have added your name and your website to the bottom of the post. Great article!

  20. G. Andrews September 26, 2011

He’s beautiful..! What a damn shame that someone would abandon this handsome boy in his golden years. It’s not right and should be criminal.

Thank you all for rescuing him and we wish him peace and tranquility.

  21. Heather oakley September 28, 2011

I just love looking at them. While I’m here, did anyone see the short article by Jane Smiley and her GSP in the Sept. issue of ”Sunset” magazine?

  22. Dalia October 26, 2011

I think that, while a lovely dog, that is a wirehaired not shorthair!!

  23. Mike Bowen November 15, 2011
