Poor Spot was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was given to someone with no fences, so he kept showing up at the local shelter. His owners finally gave up trying to keep up with this young GSP – telling the shelter they were too old to take care of him and relinquishing ownership.
His timing got worse when the local GSP rescue had no room to take him. Luckily for Spot, California GSP Rescue was able to take him. A transport was arranged with the help of the folks at Labs and More Rescue and Don brought lucky Spot all the way from Yuma to San Diego. A short ride with volunteer Cindy and he was at the rescue – safe behind fences. More to come on this petite and personable boy.
