Once a month we invite our volunteers to help us take the dogs awaiting forever homes out to stretch their legs and for a breath of fresh air. It also helps us gain insight into the newer dogs’ dispositions: Are they shy or aggressive? Do they know basic commands? Are they easy to walk or do they need a firm grip? Answers to these questions help us find the perfect match—and the forever home—for these remarkable dogs.

We will require each volunteer to sign up each time they want to participate. This way we will know how many volunteers are coming that day and how many dogs we need to prepare for their outing.
