Duke

Duke is a 2 year old stunning white and liver roan male German Shorthaired Pointer. Duke is a very sweet guy who enjoys the company of people, and other dogs.

Duke rides well in a car, and would be a great companion to accompany you to dog friendly establishments.

He hasn’t had much training, and needs some work on the leash as he is a strong puller, but any time you put into training, will pay off tenfold for you and Duke.

Duke is a young GSP, and very active. He has some amazing potential for someone willing to put in the time to exercise, train, keep him stimulated, and give him plenty of love.

The Challenges:

It is unknown if Duke is house trained - we presume he is not, so he will need to be house trained in a new environment so he can learn the routine

Duke will need a secure yard, as he can jump a fence. Having a secure yard, being supervised while outdoors, playing with him, and keeping him busy where he does not get bored, will help manage this

Duke will need an active family with experience with the breed, who understands the amount of daily exercise, stimulation, structure and training Duke will need. No days off!
