Olive

Olive is a beautiful solid liver 2 year old female German Shorthaired Pointer. Olive is your typical young GSP with plenty of energy to burn, and very active. She loves to play fetch, is good on a leash, and does well with all of the dogs she has met. We are looking for a person or family that will be able to devote their time to provide Olive a minimum of at the least, 45 minutes of exercise 2 to 3 times a day. She isn’t a dog that can be left in the backyard every day for hours with nothing to do. Someone who works from home or retired that can commit the time throughout the day spending time with Olive, going on walks, hikes, going to the beach, teaching her to run alongside a bike, training sessions, and plenty of playtime will benefit you both. Then at the end of the day, when she is tired, she will be happy to cuddle up with you while you read a book, or watch your favorite shows.

The Challenges:

It is unknown if Olive is house trained - we presume she is not, so she will need to be house trained in a new environment so she can learn the routine.

Olive is a young and very active girl, and will need someone who will be able to provide her with the daily exercise, stimulation and training she needs. No days off.
