Bowa

Bowa is a beautiful 4 year old liver roan female German Shorthaired Pointer. Bowa was surrendered to us when her owners were moving out of the country, and could not take her with them.

Bowa is a great dog. She is sweet, and good with other dogs. Lived with another dog and also with small children. She loves people, and enjoys getting attention and affection.

Bowa’s previous owners said she is house trained, but we always feel that coming into a new environment that she will need to be house trained to learn a routine in her new home. Bowa is crate trained. She will need some training on walks and runs as she gets exited, and is a strong puller. She hasn’t had alot of training, but she is very smart, listens well, and knows some basic commands. Knows “sit and wait for food”.

While Bowa is 4 years old, she has a TON of energy, and will need daily exercise and stimulation to keep her happy, along with continued training to expand on her commands. She is smart and willing to learn.

The Challenges: 

Afraid of pool guys, but more so of their equipment. She runs away.

Needs work on leash training.

Needs consistent daily exercise and stimulation as she still has alot of GSP energy at 4 years old.

Needs house training.
