Sometimes, the sweetest dogs are the ones who need the most reminding that they are still worthy of being chosen.

At approximately nine years old, Camilla has already learned that life can be kind. Since leaving the shelter, she has been an absolute joy. She loves going for walks, enjoys meeting other dogs, and once the adventure is over, she is perfectly happy settling in beside her people and soaking up affection.

It's hard to understand how a dog with such a kind, pleasant personality ended up in a shelter kennel. But what matters now is that Camilla has a second chance — and we are determined to help her find the person who will recognize just how special she is.

Camilla has been an excellent houseguest. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and has gotten along wonderfully with the other dogs in her foster home. She enjoys riding in the car, discovering new places, and simply being close to her people.

She still has plenty of pep and loves getting out for a walk. But Camilla isn't asking for an exhausting, nonstop lifestyle. She seems perfectly content with a brisk walk once or twice a day, followed by time together, some treats, and plenty of love.

And honestly? That sounds like a pretty wonderful life.

A walk.
A few treats.
A new place to explore.
A soft bed.
Someone nearby.
And a whole lot of affection.

When Camilla heads out for a walk, she's excited to get going — and then she settles in beautifully, happily accepting treats, praise, and attention from her people.

She doesn't need a complicated life. She just needs a loving one.

After everything that brought her to this point, Camilla deserves to spend her days knowing where she belongs — not wondering when someone will come back for her.
