Mortiz

Mortiz is a very handsome 5-6 year old male German Shorthaired Pointer. Mortiz may be a great fit for someone looking for a more moderate-energy German Shorthaired Pointer.

At five or six years old, he carries the best of the breed—loyalty, intelligence, and warmth—without the boundless energy of a youngster. He still craves adventure, guidance, and affection, but his gentler pace might be the perfect welcome for someone new to German Shorthaired Pointers.

It doesn’t appear that Mortiz has had alot of training, but he is attentive, and motivated to learn new things.

We don’t know Mortiz’ background, but what we have learned is that Mortiz is smart, sweet, affectionate, attentive, and hungry for connection. He is searching for the place and the people that will finally feel like home.

The Challenges:

It is unknown if Mortiz is house trained - we presume he is not, so he will need to be house trained in a new environment so he can learn the routine.

Needs continued basic training and learning of commands to keep him safe and balanced.
