Rocky

Rocky is a 6 year old very handsome white and liver male German Shorthaired Pointer. A great age for a GSP. He still has alot of GSP energy, loves to run, however doesn’t demand the same amount of exercise of a younger GSP pup. Rocky will benefit from a home that can give him plenty of daily exercise, walks and a run, some training and a secure yard. We don’t believe that Rocky has had much training. He does know “sit”. He is very smart, so for someone that has the time to devote to Rocky, he will surely thrive in his environment and you will get an amazing dog.

The Good Stuff: 

A really sweet guy. Loves people and enjoys playing with other well behaved dogs. He is dog door trained and crate trained. Enjoys car rides. Has plenty of energy, but because he is 6, he tires out quicker than a younger GSP who can go all day long. At the end of the day, he will be happy sitting by your side watching Netflix.

The Challenges: 

Rocky can jump a fence, so he needs a secure yard with at least a 6 foot fence. Even at 6 years old, Rocky is very active and needs daily exercise, training and stimulation to keep him busy.
