When Peggy, a California GSP Rescue volunteer, stepped into the shelter, Olive made her intentions unmistakable. As the truck door swung open, Olive leaped into the crate with a quiet certainty, as if she had already chosen her next adventure and was simply waiting for the world to catch up.
She was ready—heart, mind, and spirit.
Like so many young souls who find themselves behind shelter walls, Olive arrived as a stray. No footsteps echoed down the corridor for her. No familiar voice called her name. She waited, quietly, for someone who could see past the bars and into the gentle, extraordinary heart beating within.

They flourish when given purpose, space to stretch their legs, and families who understand the beauty of a mind and body in motion.
